Build infrastructure that the world's most demanding enterprises trust

We're 1,200+ engineers, researchers, and operators spread across San Francisco, Austin, London, and Singapore. We wake up every morning thinking about how to make enterprise infrastructure more reliable, more secure, and more deterministic. If that sounds like your kind of problem space, we'd love to hear from you.

What we believe

Our values are not aspirational slogans on a wall. They are operating principles that guide every hiring decision, every architecture review, and every customer interaction. We hold ourselves and each other accountable to them daily.

Engineering Excellence

We believe great infrastructure is built by great engineers who refuse to cut corners. Every design decision is debated, every architecture choice is documented, and every system is built to survive its worst day. We invest heavily in tooling, testing, and technical mentorship because we know that engineering rigor at the foundation prevents catastrophic failures at scale. Our engineering culture values correctness over speed, depth over breadth, and deterministic behavior over optimistic assumptions.

Customer Obsession

Our customers trust us with their most critical workloads — billions of dollars in data assets, millions of end users, regulatory compliance across dozens of jurisdictions. That trust is earned daily through relentless focus on reliability, transparency during incidents, and a genuine understanding of the pressures our customers face. Every engineer at Novastraxis spends time in customer-facing rotations because the best infrastructure decisions come from deeply understanding how it is used.

Radical Transparency

We publish our incident postmortems publicly. We share our architecture decisions openly. We tell customers when something breaks before they notice. Internally, every employee has access to board materials, revenue data, and strategic plans. We believe that information asymmetry creates bad decisions, and that trust is built through transparency, even when the news is uncomfortable. Our monthly all-hands meetings include unfiltered Q&A with the executive team on any topic.

Continuous Learning

The infrastructure landscape evolves faster than any individual can track. That is why we invest $5,000 per year per employee in learning and development — conferences, courses, certifications, books, whatever helps you grow. We run internal tech talks every Friday, maintain an engineering blog with 200+ deep-dive articles, and encourage publication in academic venues. Sixty-eight percent of our team holds advanced technical degrees, and we want to keep pushing that bar higher.

Benefits that respect the whole person

We compete for the best infrastructure engineers in the world. That means offering compensation and benefits that reflect the value our team creates. Every benefit listed here applies to all full-time employees globally, with local equivalents where needed.

Competitive Salary

Top-of-market base compensation benchmarked quarterly against industry data. We target the 90th percentile for every role across all locations.

Meaningful Equity

Significant equity grants with a four-year vesting schedule and one-year cliff. Refresher grants issued annually based on performance and market movement.

Comprehensive Health

Platinum-tier medical, dental, and vision for employees and dependents. HSA contributions, mental health support, and a global EAP program.

401(k) Match — 6%

Dollar-for-dollar 401(k) matching up to 6% of your salary with immediate vesting. International employees receive equivalent retirement contributions.

Unlimited PTO

Take the time you need. Minimum 15 days encouraged annually. Company-wide recharge weeks in July and December where the entire company shuts down.

$5K Learning Budget

Annual $5,000 stipend for conferences, courses, certifications, books, and professional development. Use it for anything that makes you better at your craft.

Home Office Stipend

$2,000 initial setup stipend plus $500 annually for equipment upgrades. Standing desks, ergonomic chairs, monitors — whatever you need to do your best work.

16 Weeks Parental Leave

Sixteen weeks of fully paid parental leave for all parents — birth, adoptive, foster, and surrogacy. Phased return-to-work program available.

Ready to build something that matters?

The infrastructure layer is the most important — and most underappreciated — part of the technology stack. If you believe that reliability is a feature, that security is a design constraint, and that the best engineering is invisible to end users, you belong here.
